3 BHGE 6B units! First successful ignition of No. 1 gas turbine of POWERCHINA Iraq Graff Project
On December 18, the No. 1 gas turbine of the Powerchina Iraq Graf Oilfield Self owned Power Station Project was successfully ignited for one time, with excellent indicators and stable system operation, marking the successful completion of another key milestone of the project.
Three BHGE 6B gas turbine units with a single cycle installed capacity of 32MW and a rated speed of 5163 rpm are used in the Graf Oilfield Self owned Power Station Project. In order to ensure the successful completion of gas turbine ignition, the Graf Project Department of Powerchina has prepared a detailed construction plan from safety, quality, progress and other aspects, strictly implemented various commissioning measures, and organized construction and commissioning with high standards throughout the process. At the same time, the Project Department has worked closely with the Owner and major equipment manufacturers to overcome many difficulties such as personnel visa, equipment technology and construction intersections, and has promoted and completed various installation and acceptance work with high standards. The current parameters meet the design requirements, and the unit operates stably and normally, which has been highly praised by the Owner.
